FORGIVENESS

The surest evidence someone has received the love and forgiveness God has offered through the cross of Christ is that such a person demonstrates love and forgiveness themselves. We become what we behold.

Scripture to read: Ephesians 4:32, Matthew 6:12, Matthew 18:21-22, Matthew 5:23-24

"To love means loving the unlovable. To forgive means pardoning the unpardonable. Faith means believing the unbelievable. Hope means hoping when everything seems hopeless."          -G.K. Chesterton

"The forgiveness of our trespasses can come to us only through His blood... God will give you perfect and full pardon now if you will trust Him, if you will take it of His grace, if instead of attempting to win it, if instead of attempting to merit it you will just come as a poor, guilty, ruined soul -for such you are - and kneeling at the foot of the cross, will take God's permission through Jesus Christ, that is all." -G. Campbell Morgan
