Phase 2

Open your Bible and read Amos 3:3, Romans 8:29, and Acts 4:11. What we learn from these scriptures is:
1. To have fellowship with God you must agree with Him on where you are going.
2. The destination for you is to be conformed into the image of Jesus!
3. Jesus is the cornerstone, the foundation of our life as believers.

We are not forced to walk with God, we have the option to disagree on the destination and NOT walk with Him. But as Peter so wisely said in John 6:68-69 “Lord, to whom would we go? You have the words of eternal life. We believe, and we know you are the Holy One of God.” In phase 2, we will learn 6 foundational, non-negotiable things that every believer must understand; Salvation & Lordship, Holy Spirit, The Bible, Prayer, Worship, and Fellowship.

Salvation and Lordship

Salvation is a subject on the mind of many people—especially Christians. It’s a subject that has caused lots of division in the church for lack of understanding. Lordship on the other hand is seldom talked about among Christians. This is odd because there is nowhere in The Bible where God can be your savior and not also be your Lord.
