PRAYER

Prayer is communion with God - a really communion to the Father, through the Son, and by the Spirit. When Jesus died on the cross, we were given the freedom to enter into the Holy of Holies and speak to God directly. God knows our hearts and minds but delights in hearing from His children.

Scripture to read: Matthew 6:5-13, 1 John 5:14-15, Philippians 4:6, John 15:4

"Prayer does not equip us for the greater work - prayer is the greater work." -Oswald Chambers

"A sinning man stops praying but a praying man stops sinning." -Leonard Ravenhill

"Prayer is both a relationship to be experienced with God and a work to be done for God."
